I look at pictures like this often. Sitting in my office are various pictures from Picture People of the kids. They died on Thursday May 8, 2014, we were scheduled for that Saturday for the 2014 Picture People pictures. I pulled out boxes from the attic that very morning promising Bella the next day we would figure out the outfits. It never happened. That among a million other things got added to the list of the things that never would be.

The other day, I came across a Facebook memory of Bella, a quote that embodies her personality, “everyday is my favorite day but Saturday is my best best day.” It was from April 8, 2014. I explained that over the next month, any Facebook memory from 2014 captures the last month my daughter was alive. It is bittersweet and fucked up at the same time when you think of it like that. Snow and Memories
Portland, OR does not usually get a lot of snow. Last Tuesday into Wednesday it got a foot. You have to understand that two inches usually shuts the city down (yes, I know that is ridiculous). Raffi and I were going to NY on Thursday, and quite nervous about the ability to fly, but we managed to go and come back in the perfect windows as today we got ice, again (we got back late last night).
